Leading tube manufacturers showcase expertise in growing power market at Power-Gen India exhibition
Running together with DistribuTECH India under the theme ‘Re-energizing India’s Power Sector’, the combined event will address all of the key issues affecting the region’s electricity market, from power generation through to transmission and distribution. With its growing economy, expanding population and increasing demand for power, India is an attractive destination for the power industry. Indeed, it is estimated that an investment of some $250 billion will be required over the next five years if the entire nation is to be provided with 24-hour electricity.
For Superior Tube and Fine Tubes, the event offers an excellent opportunity to demonstrate their world-leading capabilities as manufacturers of precision tubing in high performance stainless steel, titanium, zirconium and nickel alloys for the nuclear, solar and conventional power industries. Both companies manufacture highly reliable tubing solutions, in seamless and welded forms, to the very highest specifications which play a major role in ensuring high quality, long life-cycles and safety in supercritical thermal and nuclear applications including:
- Nuclear - Control and instrumentation, Control rods or Fuel cladding, Steam generators, Heat Exchangers, Super Heaters, Condensers
- Solar - Heat Exchangers, Condensers
- Conventional – Control and instrumentation, Control rods or Fuel cladding, Heat Exchangers
- Thermal - Super Heaters, Condensers, Heat Exchangers
Offering over 150 years of combined engineering experience in supplying high quality tubular products, Superior Tube and Fine Tubes have worked closely with the world’s largest energy suppliers to develop innovative tubing solutions and to help them solve their technical challenges. Both companies have supplied mission critical components for major projects globally including the USA, UK, India, France and China.
With the metallurgical capability to process high end materials, Fine Tubes and Superior Tube offer a comprehensive portfolio of Nuclear and Power Generation tubing in nickel alloys, including 600 and 625, stainless steel, including 6 Moly and 316L, duplex, including S31803, and in titanium Ti CP - Grade 2.
Gagan Sood, Business Development Manager India, commented: “With the increasing demand for power and rising energy consumption in India, we are looking forward to meeting existing and potential customers to discuss how we can best serve their most demanding tubing requirements. Fine Tubes and Superior Tube not only has the capacity to manufacture quality assured tubing to RCC-M, ASME QSC and CSA standards, but also have a proven track record in helping the power industry advance by developing innovative tubing solutions.”
Both companies will be presenting a selection of their latest product developments in Hall 10, Booth 1028.
