Superior Tube and Fine Tubes will be co-exhibiting at this year’s AIRTEC show which is being held from 28th to 30th October at the Exhibition Centre in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Dedicated to the entire aerospace supply chain, AIRTEC, now in its ninth edition, will offer excellent opportunities for the two companies to meet potential new customers and business partners.
UK-based Fine Tubes and US-based Superior Tube, sister companies within the Watermill Group, have both been supplying the aerospace industry for more than 50 years and have an excellent record of meeting the industry’s ever increasing demands for higher performance tubing.
Fine Tubes is one of the few suppliers with the capability to produce the seamless Grade 9 and Grade 5 titanium tubing required for the Airbus A380’s high pressure hydraulic systems and for the high lift transmission systems designed by Liebherr for the A350 XWB. The company is also manufacturing the highly specialist inconel tubing required for the heat exchanger of the SABRE (Synergetic Air-Breathing Rocket Engine) designed by Reaction Engines for the Skylon space plane.
Similarly, Superior Tube has engineered products for some of the most advanced projects in the aerospace industry. A Boeing-qualified supplier for both its commercial and military aircraft, Superior Tube has also developed precision tubes for NASA’s Space Shuttle and Mars Exploration programs.
Both companies are looking forward to exhibiting at AIRTEC and to demonstrating their ability to deliver advanced tubing that matches the aerospace industry’s most demanding performance and reliability criteria.
