Showcase of our latest nuclear tubing range at SMR Summit 2017
Fine Tubes and Superior Tube will be showcasing their latest nuclear tubing range in Booth 3 at the International SMR & Advanced Reactor Summit in Atlanta GA, from 30 to 31 March 2017.
The 7th Annual International SMR & Advanced Reactor Summit is expected to be one of the world’s largest Nuclear & Energy platform with more than 15 countries represented and presentations from more than 40 leading industry experts.
Fine Tubes and Superior Tube manufacture high precision tubes in stainless steel, nickel, titanium and zirconium alloys for key components in the Primary and Turbine Nuclear Island that are critical to the safe operation and long life-cycles of nuclear reactors. Nuclear applications include:
• Fuel & control rods
• Fuel assembly grid wear sleeve tubing
• Instrumentation tubing for in-core thermocouples,
• Heat exchanger tubing
Both companies work closely with leading nuclear power companies to produce innovative new solutions to the challenges created by new technologies. More recently, Fine Tubes and Superior Tube have been heavily involved in responding to the new specifications created by developments such as the Small Modular Reactor (SMR).
