John Reinhart to moderate at EDTR Roundtable on Sustainability
John Reinhart, Superior Tube’s Manager Product Development, will be attending the EDTR (Extrusion, Drawing & Tube Reducing) Roundtable 2015 which is being held in Indianapolis from April 19th to 21st. The theme for the event, aimed at engineers, technical managers, operators, tooling designers, and maintenance supervisors and technicians, is Sustainability and its application for the Tube Manufacturing Industry.
John, a past Chairman of EDTR, will be moderating the tube drawing discussions. John is a long-serving member of the EDTR Technology Council (an educational arm of Tube & Pipe Association Int.), which is sponsoring the event and three other staff members from Superior Tube will be attending. Within the seamless tube industry, the Roundtable is widely regarded as an excellent best practices sharing opportunity.
Superior Tube has a strong commitment to protecting the environment through regularly reviewed energy consumption targets and waste reduction programs as well as an environmental management system that is independently assessed and certified. John’s involvement in the EDTR Roundtable provides Superior Tube with new insights into how to operate our business in the most sustainable way possible.
John has been with Superior Tube since 1969 and was the driving force behind the production of Superior – Land, Sea, Air, and Space, the company’s official history. More information about the book and a link to order a copy can be found at www.superiortube.com/about-us/our-history/book/.
