Tubing experts to attend India Nuclear New Build Congress in growing energy market

Superior Tube & Fine Tubes will be attending the India Nuclear New Build Congress 2015 in Mumbai, India from 8 – 9 June 2015.

The event, at which some 200 executives from across the global nuclear value chain are expected to be present, will provide us with an excellent opportunity to further raise our profile as leading global manufacturers of high precision tubing to the nuclear power sector in this fast-growing Indian market.

Through a three-stage development programme designed to achieve self-reliance through the use of domestic thorium resources, India plans to produce 20,000 MWe of energy from its nuclear sector by 2020 and 63,000 MWe by 2032. In the long term, it is planned that nuclear power will supply 25% of the country’s electricity by 2050.
